With spring planting under way, local law enforcement is reminding motorists to keep an eye out for slow moving vehicles.
Guthrie County Sheriff Marty Arganbright says although farm equipment travels well below highway speed limits, it is important to exercise caution when passing the large machines.
“You just have to have patience. There will also be a lot of vehicles coming out of field entrances and you have to be more aware than usual of those.”
Farm machinery can be expected on roads both day and night as the planting season continues.
