Bell Tower Festival Logo 2017The Bell Tower Festival in Jefferson is about tradition with the parade and the Tower of Fame Award ceremony, but it’s also a time to add new pieces to it.

Co-Chair Brandon Gustoff says they managed to bring in a unique competition to the festival.

“We made an agreement with the American Cornhole organization. Basically, it’s kind of like a bags tournament where you throw the bags at the wooden board that’s got the holes in it. They’re going to hold the state tournament here in Jefferson on Bell Tower (Festival) weekend.”

Another new addition is the Air Force Jazz Ensemble, that will perform at 9am Saturday on the plaza stage. Both the American Cornhole competition and the Air Force Jazz Ensemble were brought in by the Chamber’s new consultant, Michael Reese.

Several pre-sale tickets are now available for the festival. Advance tickets for the beverage garden entertainment featuring Brad Morgan and the headliner Ladies of the 80’s are on sale now for $8, along with the barbecue meal tickets are $8 for the hamburger meal or a ribeye steak dinner for $15 in advance. All of those tickets are available at the Chamber office. There are also advanced wristband prices now for the inflatables for $10 for Friday and $20 for Saturday. The wristbands are available at Kum & Go, Home State Bank or the Chamber office.
