A group committed to combating the damaging influence of methamphetamine continues to meet in Bridgewater Iowa.

Organizer Doug Miller started a Facebook page entitled “Take Back Bridgewater, Iowa” in early March after a sign pointing towards the community was vandalized with the word “meth. ”

Miller’s group has continuously met with local and state officials and law enforcement since the incident with the aim of bettering their community.

Takeback Bridgewater most recently sat down with Congressman David Young. A representative for Young has said they would like this first meeting to be a starting point for a much lengthier conversation.
