This Friday, Perry High School will be one of over 30 schools in Iowa hosting a college decision day celebration.
The purpose of the event is to recognize high school seniors for their decisions to continue their education beyond high school. By participating, Perry is seeking to create a college-going culture and encourage younger students to look into continuing their education. The celebration will be tomorrow from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the high school gym, and the seniors attending are reminded to wear their college colors.
Iowa college decision day was created by the Iowa College Student Aid Commission as a way to increase student interest in higher education, while celebrating those that have already committed to college.
