Last Friday was as good of an ending to a week as could be for the ADM soccer program with a pair of shut out victories. The ADM girls squad took care of business with a 6-0 win over Winterset while the Tiger boys fell just one short of that in a 5-0 rout over Indianola.

The ADM girls squad graced the field at Island Park for their home contest and came away with their 26th straight home victory in a 6-0 shutout over Winterset. 5 Lady Tigers comprised those six goals with Izzy LaFollete, Chelsea Bright, Allie Cook, and Kylee Luther each with one goal a piece. Meanwhile, Sydney Bertman wrote her name in the record books by becoming the all time scoring leader for the Lady Tigers with the two goals she contributed Friday. The win for ADM meant their 29th straight victory against the RRC as they head into this week still unblemished at 8-0.

The road contest belonged to the Tiger boys who recovered nicely from the 2-0 setback against Winterset Thursday night by blanketing the Indians of Indianola on the road Friday night. Matthew Dobrzynski would be one of four scorers on the night as he opened up the scoring in just the fourth minute of action. Along with Justin Annear and Matthew Oberreuter, Dobrzynski scored on goal while the multi-goal effort on the night went to junior Davis Barton picking up his 10 goal on the season. The Tiger boys now rest at 10-3 and will get set to decide their fate at the top of the conference with a championship battle with Perry tomorrow at home.

As for today, the Lady Tigers will kick off the action preparing for their conference championship showdown with Perry on Tuesday, with a conference match up against a stingy Boone squad tonight at Tiger Stadium.
