The Dallas County Fair won’t be until July, but Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is hosting a pre-fair celebration tomorrow at the fairgrounds.

The event is being hosted by the Dallas County Fair Board, Extension, and the Adel Chamber of Commerce. It will run from 4-6 p.m., and will include a ribbon cutting at 4:45 to induct the Fair Board into the Chamber. Extension will also be introducing their new executive director, Jeff Jackson, and regional director, Andrea Nelson.

Activities at the celebration include fair food, a bounce house, kids activities, fair displays, and drawings for fair event tickets. Cy, the ISU mascot will also be in attendance for photo opportunities. There is no cost for the event. For more information, contact the Dallas County Extension office at 515-993-4281.
