The Stuart Public Library is kicking of this year’s summer reading programming with a party in the park. Summer Reading Program Director Holly Partlow says everyone is welcome to enjoy games and activities at Lawbaugh Park on Saturday and parents can take the time to sign their children up for a summer of reading fun, activities and prizes. The party will go on from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Partlow says she has planned several activities fitting into the theme of “Building a Better World.”
“We are really focusing on the kids building a better world physically and in their community.”
Summer Reading program days are Tuesdays in June and a host of other events will be going on throughout the summer at the library.
