The Stuart Public Library is kicking off this year’s summer reading programming with a party in the park.
Summer Reading Program Director Holly Partlow says everyone is welcome to enjoy games and activities at Lawbaugh Park tomorrow and parents can take the time to sign their children up for a summer of reading fun, activities and prizes. The party will go on from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Partlow says she has planned several activities fitting into the theme of “Building a Better World.”
“We are focused on the kids building a better world physically and as citizens of the community.”
In the case of inclement weather, the party will be held in the library.
Summer reading program will be held on Tuesdays in June and a host of other events will be going on throughout the summer at the library.
