As we close in on one week until the 37th annual Bell Tower Festival, volunteers are needed to help out.

Logistics Chair Clay Ross says they need volunteers to help to work shifts with the inflatable rides for both Friday and Saturday. Volunteers are also needed in the beverage garden for Friday and Saturday nights, as well as a few volunteers for helping to set-up and tear down during the open ceremonies on Friday evening and for the plaza stage entertainment on Saturday. Anyone who would like to volunteer, can contact the Chamber at 386-2155.

A reminder for anyone wanting to compete in the Bill Riley Talent Search and a chance to represent Greene County at the Iowa State Fair contest need to register by June 5th. Bolton & Menk is this year’s sponsor and will award cash prizes to the first through third place finishers, but only the top honors will advance to the state fair contest. There are sprout and senior divisions. To register, click the link below. The talent show will take place at 5pm on the plaza stage next Saturday.
