Perry did not allow a single run Saturday in cruising to another Paul and MaryAnn Graves classic championship at the PAC.  The Jayettes scored three times in the top of the 7th inning to defeat 2A top ranked I-35 3-0, and followed up with an 8-0 shutout over last year’s 1A state champion Van Meter.  Emma Olejniczak once again proved to be tough on the opponents as she registered 12 shutout innings in the two combined games.  Johanna Diw added a 2-run triple in the top of the 7th that proved to be the game winner.

Perry has now won 5 straight and will face last year’s 4A state runner up Carlisle tonight at the PAC.  Shawn Kenney will have play by play beginning at 7 on KDLS.
