Perry lost to Iowa Falls Alden 4-3 in the class 2A consolation final Saturday at the Cownie Soccer Complex.  The state’s leading goal scorer proved to be too much for the Bluejays as Marcos Vila registered a hat trick giving him 61 goals this year.  It was his 12th hat trick of the season.   Vila’s first 2 goals gave the Cadets the early lead.  Perry cut it to 2-1 on a German Alvarenga goal.  Villa scored again early in the second half to push the lead to 3-1.  Perry then took over the game storming back with a pair of goals.  Anthony Vellasco registered a tally on an assist from Alvaro Soto to cut it to 3-2 followed by an Alvarenga goal on a beautiful feed from Jesus Rodriguez.

Iowa Falls scored the game winner with a little more than 12 minutes to go when Logan Steelman hit a deflection off a direct kick to provide the game winner.

Perry closes out the season 4th in 2A.
