The ADM baseball team remains unblemished in their non conference record after taking a win at home against Norwalk last night 7-5.

The Tigers earned all seven runs off of eight hits, four walks, and eight runners left on base. The Warriors actually led in the hit category as their 5 runs comprised of 10 hits, 4 walks, four strikeouts with 8 runners left on base.

The big bat on the night for the Tigers went to Logan Crannell who with one swing of the bat brought in three runs via a 3 run triple as part of a five run 3rd inning. Crannell ended the night 2-4 with 3 RBI’s while another big bat was Nick Lindgren who pushed his hitting streak up to 11 games by going a perfect 2-2 on the night with 2 RBI’s. Jack O’Brien picked up his 10th RBI while Trey Volz drew a walk to connect on his 3rd for the season.

On the mound the southpaw in Dalton Hews would face the Warrior line up for the Tigers and he would would hold the Warrior line up at bay through six innings. The only blemish on Hews’s night on the mound was a passed ball that scored the only run on his watch as he ended the night with no earned runs, allowing six hits, walking just four and striking out four.

ADM got quite the scare in the top of the seventh as their 7-1 lead shrunk to a 7-5 lead after Nowalk posted up a three run single by Karnes and an RBI single by Black. Despite the late game rally, Matthew West would end up shutting the door and record the final 3 outs to preserve ADM’s 8th win on the season.

ADM will once again be putting up their unblemished non conference record on the line tonight traveling to Ogden to face the Bulldogs. First pitch will get the game going at 7:30 pm.
