The Perry baseball team had been waiting for this type of game all season.  It finally happened Thursday night at Progressive field as the Bluejay offense struck for a season high 15 hits and 17 runs in defeating the Bombers 17-5 in RRC action.  Perry scored a combined 13 runs in the third and fourth innings.   Janier Puente provided the spark connecting on a grand slam in the bottom of the 4th inning.  It was the power hitting right fielder’s first home run of the year.  He finished with 6 RBI and three hits.  Senior Kyle Nevitt finished with 2 hits and 2 RBI.  He scored three runs as well.  Austin Carpenter and Alexis Garrido each scored three runs as well.

Adan Medina allowed three earned runs in 5 inning of work to earn the victory.

Perry improves to 2-4 in RRC play and 3-8 overall.
