Late last week, the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association released their 2017 boys All-State selections for each class and although ADM did not make it to the big dance, they had one individual make it onto one of the biggest of stages.

Inside the class 2A first team Matthew Oberreuter punched his ticket as the senior made it in a defensive slot. The defensive specialist was also solid on the offensive end accumulating 4 goals, 2 assist, and  9 points in the 2017 campaign. Oberreuter was one of five Raccoon River Conference members spread across all three teams with Winterset’s Gavin Devshemal as a first team midfielder,  Perry’s Jesus Rodriguez as a second team all state forward, Bondurant-Farrar’s Luke De Costa as a third team all state midfielder, and Winterset’s Gerrett Nevshemal as third team midfielder.

ADM ended their 2017 campaign with a 13-5 record, ending the regular season ranked ninth in the class 2A polls.
