A single-vehicle accident resulted in two people being sent to Dallas County Hospital Saturday.

Around 4:30 p.m., the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department responded to an overturned vehicle on Highway 141 east of Perry. Sources say a minivan was traveling in the westbound lanes when it left the roadway and came to rest upside-down in a field on the north side of the highway. The severity of the injuries and the identities of those involved are not known at this time, and sheriff’s deputies wouldn’t speculate on a cause.

The Sheriff’s Office was aided at the scene by Dallas County EMS, Woodward First Responders, and the Woodward Volunteer Fire Department. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring more information as it’s made official.
