The Perry City Council will convene tomorrow morning in a special session.

According to City Administrator Sven Peterson, the purpose of the meeting is to wrap up the current fiscal year and prepare for the next one. “It’s a special year-end meeting. It’s just a lot of close-out things, and we may take care of some of this extra business. Like some final readings of ordinances and things like that.”

Because of the special meeting, the Council will not convene in their regular session on July 3rd. Their first meeting of July will be held on the 17th. The special session will be held at 8 a.m. in the Clarion Room in City Hall.
