A new traveling exhibit recently made its way to Jefferson for the 4th of July holiday.
The 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit from New York City is at Wild Rose Casino and Resorts. It is a tool to educate America’s youth about the tragic and historic events of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. The 53-foot tractor-trailer unfolds to a 1,000-square-foot exhibit which includes artifacts such as steel beams from the towers, documentary videos and recordings of the first responder radio transmissions.
The public is welcome to enjoy the free exhibit. It is open from noon to 6pm Saturday through Monday and 2 to 8pm on Tuesday.
