Guthrie County Extension is once again hosting its annual farmland leasing meeting, which will be August 3rd at 6:00 pm. Extension Intern Matthew Vannatta tells Raccoon Valley Radio News a variety of leasing topics will be covered.

“We will discuss land values and cash rent trends, cost of production, methods for determining a rental rate, legislative updates regarding leases, and communicating with tenants or landlords.”

A 100-page workbook has been compiled for the program, with resources regarding land leasing agreements.
