The Stuart Library’s People Active for Library Service (PALS) group is holding an annual meeting to discuss their activities and accomplishments in the past year.
PALS President Carol Brewer tells Raccoon Valley Radio the meeting in required by the United Library Association, but is also a great chance for the public to understand what the group does when considering to support them.
“We have about 60 members and have been able to accomplish a lot this year, but we know there are many more people in Stuart who care about the library and could do more with our group.”
The meeting will be on Thursday July 13th at 7:00 p.m. and will also allow PALS members to elect new officers for the coming year.
The meeting is open to everyone.
