After earning the season series sweep against Woodward Academy 13-3 on Wednesday, the Panorama baseball team was unable to create the same outcome Friday night in the season finale, falling to Glidden-Ralston by a 13-8 final.

The Panthers collected 13 hits on the evening with 7 RBI’s, 5 stolen bases, and even a home run. The home run came off the bat of Jeramy Randol as part of a stellar night for the senior going 2-3 and driving in three RBI’s. Two RBI’s came from sophomore Koltin Sloss with a night consisting of 2-4 at the plate with one stolen base. The RBI count for Panorama rounded out with one each from sophomores Jacob Iseminger and Levi Richey.

On the mound Koltin Sloss would endure the loss going just over one innings worth of work while giving up one earned run, one hit, six walks, and two strikeouts. With the completion of Friday night’s game, Panorama officially ends their regular season with a mark of 4-17 heading into postseason play.

Speaking of the postseason, the Panthers will be in action tonight for round one of the district 15 tournament in Manning. The Panthers will have a tough test ahead up against host IKM-Manning. First pitch between the Panthers and the Wolves starts things off at 7:00 PM.
