The West Central Valley baseball team opened up their 2017 postseason play with a resounding 12-3 victory over round one winner Underwood yesterday.

The Wildcats now move on to the district 15 final where they will take on the districts top team in Tri-Center on Saturday. The winner of that game will then take on the winner of the district 16 match up between Treynor and Clarinda for the right to head to the state tournament.

West Central Valley’s contest with Tri-Center will begin this Saturday in Neola with first pitch set to take place at 7:00 pm.
