The last athletic event associated with Greene County’s high school football program for Dean Lansman and his son, Logan, will take place at the 45th Annual Iowa Shrine Bowl Football Classic. The game is inside the air-conditioned UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls on Saturday, July 29 with kickoff at 4 p.m. Dean is an assistant coach for the South squad and Logan is a South squad player.
Logan Lansman plans to further his education and join the football team at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs. Dean Lansman was a science teacher, head football coach, head boys’ track & field coach, and activities director at Greene County High School. He resigned earlier this year and will now teach science and be an assistant football and track & field coach in the North Polk school district.
Tickets purchased in advance are $10 per person and they are $15 per person at the gate. All proceeds go to support the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.
