It’s the start of the Greene County Fair weekend, which means the return of the grandstand entertainment.
Tonight’s grandstand entertainment is the Grand River Rodeo at 7pm. Fair Board President Bob Allen invites everyone to come out and see one of the best rodeos around.
“The last two years have been a huge success that we’ve had the rodeo. We’ve virtually filled the stands, which our capacity is nearly 1,000 people and I would just really encourage all the KG98 listeners to come out.”
Before the rodeo will be a barbecue meal served up by the Greene County Cattlemen’s Association with a performance by the Town and Country Band. Following the rodeo is a fireworks display.
Saturday’s grandstand entertainment will be the Lucas Oil Tractor and Truck Pull show. Allen describes the event.
“Before the tractor pull, we’ve got the Greene County Pork Producers and the Greene County Lamb Producers hosting out barbecue (meal) so I would encourage all the KG98 listeners to come out a little bit ahead of time and grab a nice meal and then head over to the Lucas Oil Tractor Pull. Always look forward to having the tractors come to town. It’s always a real fun and entertaining event to have the tractors there.”
The tractor pull starts at 7pm.
