The Iowa Arts Council recently announced their grant recipients for the 2018 fiscal year, and one event in Perry is getting the aid of one such grant.

The Poste Print Festival was awarded a grant of $1,895. The festival is being organized by the ladies of La Poste, who believe it will expose the community to traditional printmaking, while also promoting, growing, and creating new connections in the state’s art community. The one-day festival will be held on October 17th at La Poste, with a month-long exhibition to accompany it.

Overall, the Iowa Arts Council awarded $1,301,546 to 152 projects around the state in this year’s grant cycle.
