The final statistics have officially been released by head coach Jason Book for his ADM Tiger baseball team in the 2017 season.

The Tigers improved 15 games in their win total from a 3-29 campaign in 2016 to a 18-14 season in 2017. ADM ended the season hitting .284 at the plate with 159 total RBI’s and averaging over six runs per game. A big reason for the success came offensively for ADM and the biggest instigator came in the form of extra base hits. The Tigers more than doubled their total extra base hit count from 24 last year to a mark of 56 this season while seeing an average of 3.5 pitches per plate appearance.

ADM improved their fielding from an average of 3 errors per game in 2016 to an average of 2.4 errors per game this season.

The Tigers made big strides on the mound bringing down a 5.22 ERA in last year’s contest to a 4.52 ERA this season. The Tigers tossed 201 strikeouts compared to just 121 walks.

The leader at the plate individually for ADM was Kade Overton with a .387 batting average. The RBI king on the season was bestowed upon Nick Lindgren with 26 RBI’s dished out all season. In the end it was Kade Overton who took the lead in strikeouts on the mound with a total of 51 on the year.
