The Greene County School Board will meet tonight.

Under old business, the Board will consider for approval board policies on a substance free workplace and camera surveillance and disposal of property. Additionally the Board will discuss the student construction program.

Under new business, the Board will consider for approval the 2017-18 dairy and bakery product bids; the 2017-18 student, parent and employee handbooks; a revision to the 2017-18 school calendar; a change order for the elementary school addition; a contract with Iowa Lakes Community College for the Student Alternative Vocational Education (SAVE) program; substitute teacher pay rates and the 28E agreement procedure for Project Early Bird with Iowa Central Community College.

Plus, the Board will discuss the 2018 legislative action priorities and review the middle school principal’s salary.

The meeting will be at 5:15pm in the conference room of the administrative building in Jefferson.
