The Dallas County Board of Supervisors has come to a decision on who will clean the nine County-owned buildings moving forward.
Discussions lasted more than a month. The process started when the County sent out a request for proposals for cleaning service providers. They heard back from five companies, including their current provider FBG Cleaning. At their meeting last Tuesday, the Supervisors approved Operations Director Rob Tietz’s final recommendation.
As part of the agreement, Genesis Development will clean four of the nine buildings and low bidder Reliable Maintenance will clean the other five. The Supervisors asked Tietz to move forward with contracts for both Genesis and Reliable. They are expected to sign the contracts at an upcoming meeting.
