Today is the one-day, back to school used book sale and more going on at the Jefferson Public Library.

Library Director Jane Millard says the Friends of the Jefferson Library are sponsoring the special event, due to having an overstocked inventory of used books. Items that are featured at the sale include: used books, teacher educational resources and materials, DVDs, games, toys, t-shirts and puzzles. There is no admission charge for the sale.

It is in the library basement from 9am to 1pm today.

All proceeds will go back to the Friends for equipment purchases for the library.
