Today is the final day for an annual garage sale with proceeds to go to a good, local cause.

People for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in Jefferson is having their final garage sale day today in Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds. The sale started Thursday with a sneak peek event and continues through this morning. Donated items are on sale from 8 to 11am.

The proceeds from the sale will go back to the Greene County animal shelter in Jefferson and to the continued care of the animals that are brought to the shelter.
