The August Perry Chamber of Commerce Coffee event brought community members to Alice’s Haus Dressin to help celebrate their 20th year.
Attendees were treated to donuts, coffee, juice, and even peach soup Friday morning. Everyone then circled up and introduced themselves, and some talked about events and projects they have coming up. Several attendees also congratulated Alice and her staff on 20 years in business. It was the first Chamber event since the resignation of former Chamber Director Bob Wilson, so board member and Perry Fareway Store Manager Travis Landgrebe facilitated the meet and greet.
Chamber Coffees are held the second Friday of every month. The September event will be held on September 8th at the Town Craft Building, where the Chamber will show off the new coworking space and their new offices. The events are free and open to the public, and the Chamber feels they’re a great way to help the community network and spread the word.
