The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office intends to charge a man in connection with the July 21st bank robbery in Casey.

Shawn Michael Antisdel, 38, of West Des Moines was arrested by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office on Monday after robbing a bank in Redfield.  Following his arrest, Guthrie County Sheriff’s office officials questioned the suspect regarding the Casey bank robbery. The Sheriff’s Office secured a confession from the suspect and intends to charge Antisdel in the coming days.

So far Antisdel is being charged with second degree theft, a class C felony, in relation to the Redfield robbery. More charges are pending relating to the Casey robbery. He is currently being held at the Dallas County Jail on a $10,000 cash-only bond. He will have his initial appearance in court on August 31st.
