The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
Their topics of discussion include the recent announcement of the new Apple Data Center in Waukee and how that affects the County as a whole. They will also discuss an article written about a bridge over the Raccoon River. They are not expected to take any action on either topic. Action items they’ll deal with include: a request to use the human services campus meeting room; a resolution to abate mobile home taxes; a 28E agreement with the City of Clive; and a vehicle purchase request for the Sheriff’s office.
Additionally, the Board will have discussion and possible action with the secondary roads department regarding maintenance of the County geodetic control network. They will also set a time and date for a public hearing regarding a road vacation for Q Court. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
