This past Saturday saw an influx of Hispanic culture in downtown Perry, as the City welcomed the annual Latino Festival.
Following the parade down Willis Avenue at 10 a.m., 2nd Street was packed with people from all walks of life who wanted to take part in the festivities. Throughout the day until 8 p.m., attendees were treated to music, dancing, vendors, and lots of great food. The event was organized by Hispanics United for Perry, and they felt everything went smoothly and that everyone had a good time.
Perry has hosted a Latino Festival for two decades, and Hispanics United has been in charge of it for around 10 years.
