The end of the summer means election season here in Iowa. This includes Des Moines Area Community College Board of Director openings.

Jim Knott is the current office holder for District 3, which comprises Guthrie County and portions of Dallas, Carroll, Audubon, and Adair counties. Knott is running unopposed and the deadline to file for candidacy has passed.                                                      

His seat will be on the normal school board district ballots and voters can make their choice at their respective polling location for school boards. Election day is September 12th. Make sure to follow Raccoon Valley Radio for all the latest election coverage and results.
