At the most recent meeting of 100+ People for Perry, the organization decided to throw their support behind the Perry High School research and design project.
The meeting was held Monday, August 28th in the Cellar at La Poste. It was the third meeting of 2017, and the seventh since the group’s founding. They donated $5,600 to the school, with each member donating $100. To date, 100+ People for Perry has donated $46,000 to seven local projects. Their mission is to invest in Perry’s future through supporting current charities, nonprofits, and worthy projects which advance the quality of life for the community. Past donations have gone towards the Perry Public Library and Art on the Prairie.
They make four large donations each year. The next will be made at their meeting on Monday, November 27th. Each contribution will stay 100% in the community, and no national charities will be considered.
