Panorama 2Panorama volleyball was taking on their second home game and third conference contest of the season last night and unfortunately for the Panthers an early lead would not hold falling in five sets 3-2.

The game started out well in Panorama’s favor after decisively taking  set one 25-19 while going the distance to win set two 26-24. The Lady Panthers were on track for their first conference win in two years when the tides started to turn in favor of Ogden after the Lady Bulldogs won set number three 25-18. Ogden would force a set number five by taking a 25-19 set four win and despite a strong effort by Panorama in set five, the Lady Bulldogs would walk away 18-16 in set five for the game win.

Kennedy Kuta did all she could as the teams facilitator nearly matching her assists high on the season by pouring in 24 last night. Kuta also chipped in 2 kills, one block, and one ace. Panorama’s kills leader on the nigh went to junior Morgan Johnk with 11 for the evening while fellow junior Olivia Richey paced the team with 10 digs on the evening. Another big performance for Panorama came in the form of senior Nicole Rolfs with a night consisting of 8 kills, 2 assists, 4 digs, and 2 of the teams 4 aces.

The loss sends the Panther record to 2-6 but Panorama will have a chance to add more to the win column tomorrow as they take on a six team field invitational in Perry beginning at 4:30 pm.
