The first of four road games for the Greene County football team is tonight. Coach Mitch Moore’s Rams (0-2) open Class 3A District 2 action at Grimes vs. third rated Dallas Center-Grimes (2-0). The action can be heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. and coverage starting at 6:30 p.m.

The Mustangs upended Pella last week 10-7 to stop a 42-game winning streak by the Little Dutch. They opened the season with a 35-0 win vs. ADM.

The Rams lost 41-7 last Friday to Harlan after dropping a season opening decision by a 21-14 final to Kuemper Catholic (Carroll).

The passing game for Greene County has been ahead of the running game in weeks one and two. Quarterbacks Clint Dennhardt and Brent Riley have combined to complete more than 50% of their pass attempts, which is significantly better than the 33% completion rate the Rams had in 2016.
