Dallas Co Supervisors

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.

They are expected to have their first action item regarding the new law enforcement center since the bond referendum was passed earlier this year. Civil Design Advantage will present the site preparation package for Board approval. Additionally, Jerry Purdy from Design Alliance will update the Supervisors on everything else going on with the project.

At 9:30 a.m. the Board will open a public hearing related to the vacation of Q Court, northwest of Van Meter. The public is encouraged to attend and weigh in on the issue. Other topics on the agenda include: consideration of the 2017 fiscal year State Auditor engagement letter; a business park urban renewal plan parcel removal recommendation; and an Ortonville lagoon connection policy recommendation.

The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
