The Perry School Board will convene Monday evening for their September regular meeting.
One of the first items on the agenda is a public hearing regarding an easement between the District and the Dallas County Conservation Board for a recreational trail. The public is encouraged to attend and weigh in on the topic. Following the hearing, the Board will consider a resolution approving the easement.
In general business, the Board will consider a sharing agreement with the Panorama School District for the swim team. Panorama currently shares a team with Carroll, but thought sharing with Perry would make more sense. They will also consider several other resolutions, including: PACES Lights on After School and Grants to the District fundraisers; the master form and contracts for games and officials, as well as authorizing the Athletic Director to utilize the electronic signature of the Board President; a Title I application for this school year; the drug and alcohol testing program; and revisions to Board policies.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the High School’s Brady Library. Listen Tuesday for a full recap of the meeting and the Perry Fareway Let’s Talk Dallas County program with Superintendent Clark Wicks.
