The Greene County volleyball team started its day in Eldora Saturday with a three set victory over host South Hardin, but that would be the only match win of the day for Coach Donna Carhill’s Rams as they went 1-3 in matches and 2-7 in sets.

Greene County won 21-8, 17-21, 15-6 over the host team. The Ram lost to Class 1A number 15 Edgewood-Colesburg 22-24, 16-21, fell to Gladbrook-Reinbeck 5-21, 10-21, and lost 15-21, 17-21 to Grandview Christian (Des Moines).

Megan Durbin led the Rams in kills with 28 for the tournament. She also had 20 digs and was 32-36 serving with two ace serves. Samantha Hardaway had 12 kils and 25 digs, while Chantel Flack also dug the ball 25 times. Aubrey Heupel had 45 assists and was 23-25 serving with three aces. Sophia Havens also had three ace serves and was 27 of 31 from the service line.
