A deputy investigated a verbal domestic in the 900 block of Sand Street, Churdan.
A deputy attempted to stop Joseph Blackmon 41 of Scranton for driving while suspended. A short chase throughout Scranton ended with Joseph driving his car into a corn field traveling about 150 yards into the field. Arrest warrants have been requested for felony Eluding, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction. Christopher Christian 37 of Grand Junction was arrested for driving while barred.

A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an intoxicated patron at the Wild Rose Casino.
Saturday, September 9th
A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department in the 800 block of West Washington with 3 juveniles that fled from the officer.
A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 800 block of Highway 30 East, Grand Junction.
A deputy tried to locate dogs running at large on 220th Street just east of Grand Junction.
Steven Dzuris 29 of Jefferson was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.
A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on U Avenue just south of Rippey. It was found that the driver was tired.
A deputy conducted a traffic stop on I Avenue near 290th Street. The deputy discovered stolen property from several different residences in the car. Derek Ott 36 of Jefferson was arrested for driving while barred and burglary 3rd degree. Jake Ball 33 of Jefferson was arrested for unlawful possession of prescription drugs times 3, burglary 3rd degree times 3, Violation of a no contact order, and ongoing criminal conduct.
A deputy conducted an investigation into a stolen vehicle at Henderson Park. Brett West 41 of Jamaica was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. The car was returned to the owner.
A deputy investigated a burglary in the 700 block of H Avenue. Derek Ott and Jake Ball were charged with the burglary.
Brett West was booked into the jail for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sunday, September 10th
Jake Ball 33 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for unlawful possession of prescription drugs times 3, burglary 3rd degree times 3, Violation of a no contact order, and ongoing criminal conduct.
A deputy investigated a trespass complaint on 295th Street.
A deputy investigated a single vehicle rollover on Eaton Avenue 1.5 miles north of Scranton. Zach Waters 21 was driving a 1997 Honda Passport and lost control and rolled several times in the ditch. Zach was cited for driving while suspended, a seat belt violation, and failure to maintain control. Zach was uninjured in the accident. Ieisha Riley 26 of Scranton was seat belted in but had her feet on the dash of the vehicle and was flown to Methodist hospital in Des Moines for serious injuries.
Robert Rokitnicki 49 of Des Moines was booked into the jail for a failure to appear arrest warrant.
A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an unruly juvenile in the 400 block of North Wilson.
A deputy conducted a traffic stop and arrested Roger Good 48 of Newton for driving while barred and driving while intoxicated.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
