ACGC took their home invitational in the first week of high school cross country competition. This time, the home field advantage was with the Lady Panthers, as they took the top spot in the team standings at the Panorama Invitational. Panorama finished first with 43 points while the Lady Chargers finished in a distant second with 91 points.
Kate Crawford continued her dominance this season, winning her fourth consecutive individual title to start the year. Only this time, her margin of victory was within ten seconds as she finished in a time of twenty minutes and seven seconds, just six seconds ahead of Panorama’s top runner, Ella Waddle. Emma Swanson finished in a season-low 5th place, coming in at 21 minutes and 26 seconds. Six of the top ten runners were either from ACGC or Panorama. The West Central Valley Lady Wildcats also competed, and they finished in 10th place overall.
