The yearly event typically brings in several home-crafted and home-baked items. Library Director Lisa Sherman is hoping patrons will bring a variety of items to this year’s auction, specifically college themed baskets. Sherman also points out that there is always something unexpected. “There’s always a surprise. We never know what it’s going to be and sometimes I don’t either.”

Sherman hopes the appeal of an indoor auction, as well as a professional auctioneer, will attract patrons to the event. Any items for the auction should arrive at the Library before the day of the event. Doors open at 6 and the bidding begins at 6:30. Each attendee will be given a number at the door and there is no cost for admission. All proceeds go to the Foundation and projects for the Library.
