Even though Greene County High School’s homecoming week ended with a loss to Boone at Friday night’s football game, the community support was unmatched.

There were over 30 entries in Friday’s parade and the coronation ceremony was held on the balcony of the Greene County Courthouse. This year’s homecoming king is Jordan Patterson. He is the son of Ryan Patterson and Nicole Borkowski. The homecoming queen is Haley Hall. She is the daughter of Denny and Janelle Hall. Last year’s homecoming queen Olivia Hansen crowned this year’s king and queen.

The public also enjoyed a community bonfire and jersey auction earlier this week, while also showing school pride with different businesses decorating their storefront windows.
