Multiple Panorama cross country runners placed in the top 10 of Thursday’s West Central Valley Invitational’s varsity meet. The event, held at the 5×80 Golf and Country Club in Menlo, saw the Panthers girls team win the meet championship with 39 points. The Panorama boy’s placed fourth out of 10 teams with 114 points.

Five Panthers finished among the top 10 in the varsity girls race led by Ella Waddle’s second-place finish at 19:43. Devyn Kemble crossed the finish line fourth overall at 20:45. Other top finishers for Panorama include Gwen Steffen sixth (21:04), Brianna Hoffman eighth (21:44), and Olivia Steffen tenth (22:11).

Panorama was led in the boys’ race by senior Josh Carstens who finished in third place at 17:09. Other top finishers for the Panthers include Danny Nordquist 11th (17:52), Kaleb Randal 30th (19:06), Levi Richey 36th (19:22), and Sam Webster 42nd (19:34).

The Panorama boys and girls cross country teams return to race competition Thursday at South Hamilton.
