domestic violenceIn honor of October being National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Greene County residents are encouraged to wear purple on Monday.

Greene County Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Assault Care Center Extending Shelter and Service (ACCESS) urges all Greene County residents to “Color Greene Purple” on Monday. People can wear purple shirts, pants, scarves, ribbons or other clothing or accessories to help raise awareness of domestic violence.

ACCESS staff will also visit with students throughout the day on Monday to help raise awareness of domestic violence in the school buildings.
