The Adair County Auditor’s Office has officially released the candidates for November’s city elections.

Stuart Mayor Dick Cook will run for reelection and is currently unopposed. There are three Stuart City Council seats up for election and two current members are looking to retain their seats. Bryan Belden and Neal Crawford will seek reelection, while Matt Funk will not. The other candidates running for the available seats include: Kristina Renslow, Mick Askren, and Theresa Wright-Glass.

Adair will also have an uncontested mayoral election as John Larsen will run for reelection unopposed. Richard Hays and Rick Stanley will also run for reelection as city council members with no opposition.

City elections are scheduled for Tuesday, November 7th.
