The Dallas County Sheriff’s office recently released a public notification that an Adel resident has been registered with the Iowa Sex Offender Registry.

Robert Bryan Mondabough is now on the registry as a result of a 2010 conviction of lascivious acts solicited. The notification serves as a means for the public to protect themselves. However, any action taken by anyone against the individual, including vandalism of property, verbal or written threats of physical harm, or physical assault against the person or their family, can result in arrest and prosecution.

Iowa law authorizes a criminal or juvenile justice agency the ability to notify the community about a person required to register with the Iowa Sex Offender Registry when necessary to protect the public.
