The public is invited to the next Community Conversations program at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson later this week.

The discussion, “Avoiding Frauds and Scams” will educate attendees about a variety of scams that are going on throughout Iowa, what to look out and listen for and options for handling scam callers. Iowa Home Care Marketing Manager Diane Humphrey will lead the conversation.

It will take place on Thursday with a social time and snacks from Regency Park at 5pm, followed by the discussion at 5:30.

Community Conversations is on the first Thursday of every month and it is free and open to the public.
