The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
The meeting will commence with consideration of a resolution relating to the bond issuance for the new law enforcement center. In a deviation from several previous meetings, that is the only item on the agenda dealing with the center. Topics the Board will discuss include: a COTT systems document scanning agreement for the recorder’s office; a letter relating to the Emergency Medical Services department’s plan to use a single dispatch center; further discussion on the appeal process for flood insurance restrictions; and a public hearing relating to a property rezone.
The Supervisors will also tackle several topics relating to facilities management, and the secondary roads department. The meeting will conclude with a departmental workshop with Veteran’s Affairs. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in Adel.
